Drawing near to the other side!

Hello from Colorado! One last note from the mom to be before Finn makes his debut. I don't have much profound to say except the waiting game is tough! I know he's easier to take care of where he is now in his nice warm home, but the not knowing makes an anxiety prone person such as myself very antsy.

As of today, I am 1 cm dialated, so that means 2 days or 2 weeks according to the doc. Great! I have a feeling he's arriving sooner rather than later. As you should come to expect, we will keep you posted at every turn!

Here's a little blast from the not too far past. We finally got around to getting our wedding photos from our fabulous photographer Erin Cox, of ELC Photo. These are my bridal portraits, taken in Colorado. It was the day I met Erin, and led to her and her husband Shaun coming to capture our wedding in Costa, and becoming awesome friends.

Down the Stretch!

Well, the boy is officially fully cooked now, so he could make his appearance in the world any day! The due date is officially less than three weeks off, but we are prepared to receive him, and so amazingly excited to meet the little man after all this time getting ready!

Alex is feeling great and just enjoyed a great birthday with friends and family. I was gone for this one, again due to being at work, but we had a very special Mother's Day on Sunday, so that makes up for it!

Alex and I have been hard at work getting his space ready, and while he won't really know the difference for a while, I think he will love his first months here learning just what he's gotten into!

Springtime has sort of started out here, even though it has decided to throw everyone for a loop and snow for the next day! I have most of my garden in already, but things should be well hardened off, so hopefully there isn't too much carnage....

We had some amazing pictures taken the other day by our good friend Erin - she also was the photographer for our wedding.
